In July 2024 Andrew Michael Zaghloul won the award for Blues Artist of the Year at the CIVL Radio Fraser Valley Music Awards in Abbotsford, B.C. 

In September 2024 Andrew Michael officially released “In The Valley Of The Blues,” a 6-song solo CD EP of original blues music which he solely recorded at Beat Productions in Chilliwack, B.C. 

The Andrew Michael Blues Band was officially formed in fall 2024 after recruiting experienced musicians Don Addley on harmonica, Ron Johnson on bass and Kevin Rush on drums. In 2025 the Andrew Michael Blues Band gigged heavily and entered the recording studio with acclaimed producer Rob Begg (formerly of Sunset Sound Studios in L.A.) at Marpole Recording in Langley, B.C. In February 2026 the band independently released their 10-song original blues rock album on CD and worldwide streaming platforms to blues and blues rock fans! The band is slated to perform at the Camrose Blues Festival in Alberta in July 2026 and at the Desert Daze Music Festival in B.C. in September 2026.
